I am a doctoral‑level psychologist, licensed in New York State, with a career devoted to helping people navigate anxiety and related challenges. I earned my Ph.D. from the University at Albany, where I also completed post‑doctoral training at an anxiety disorders research and treatment facility. During that time, I served as Associate Director of the Social Anxiety Disorders Program and worked with hundreds of individuals facing panic disorder, social anxiety, OCD, and other anxiety‑related concerns.
I also spent five years at the Albany Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center, focusing on chronic mental health conditions, substance use, and PTSD. Working with veterans shaped my understanding of how anxiety and trauma affect daily life and how evidence‑based treatments can help people regain stability and confidence.
Alongside my clinical work, I spent 21 years at the New York State Department of Health in chronic disease prevention while maintaining an independent psychology practice. In 2023, I transitioned my practice fully online to make therapy more accessible and flexible for the people I work with.
Across all of these roles, my focus has remained the same: providing effective, research‑supported care that helps people reduce anxiety, reconnect with what matters, and move toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
